It was a honor to have documented a Bay Area Chinese wedding of Ashley and Alex at HL Peninsula Restaurant in South San Francisco.

The wedding starts with the traditional tea ceremony 🍵 with elders and relatives, the lively and harmonious ambiance among family members set a tone of joy. The event embodied a legacy passed down through generations and showcased the unity of two families.

The Sunset photos near the venue at the San Mateo Japanese Garden turned out to be exceptionally breathtaking. With the unexpectedly brilliant sunlight, this Japanese garden produced remarkably picturesque scenes.

The wedding resumes with a banquet styled reception, a very common Asian styled reception with family styled dining.

A heartfelt appreciation goes to our lovely couple, whose genuine affection and cooperation translated into effortlessly beautiful photos, many of which required minimal post-processing, allowing for a swift creation of preview images.
